I receive a pack of three or four "Write a check. Pay it off later." checks for my MP Visa card.

The T&C state that these checks don't earn miles. OK, that makes sense because I could just keep transferring the same balance between a bunch of CCs and wind up with a few million miles really fast.

But does anyone know if the use of these checks counts towards the "$35,000 in purchases" to get the 5K EQM bonus?
