Changing last leg of a GUF'd F booking

A fairly convoluted question here :-

I am thinking of GUFing a Club miles booking late next year from LAX-LHR(stopover)-CPT-LHR(stopover)-LAX, in order to take advantage of 4 legs in F rather than just 2.

As I may want to push out the last leg into later in 2007 or into 2008, and need to book the other legs now to ensure availability:

1. Can I change the last leg of this GUF'd booking between when I book it (this weekend) and before I fly the first leg?

2. If I had already begun the trip by flying the first leg in (say) March 07, and wanted to change the last leg (originally scheduled for say, Oct 07) to late 07 or early 08, is this allowed?
