Oh, dear. Dogs are loyal. Airlines are businesses. If it ain't making money, either directly or (in their estimation) as part of the overall proposition, it goes. We may not like the way businesses operate - I've lost track of the number of obscure products, nice services and little shops that I, as a vaguely contrarian and minority-taste (calm down boys, I mean in shopping) individual have seen vanish - but Im old enough to accept that you can't expect someone to trade at a loss just to please you and if there aren't enough people using something or paying enough for it, it goes. To expect "loyalty" from a corporate body is to look for emotion in what is essentially a calculating machine and to set yourself up for constant disappointment. Sorry.
