One thing that can certainly help is to do a little shopping "on your own" on the delta.com web site so you can see what is available (at DL Sky Saver) before you call CO.

I think one difference will be that if you are doing a domestic flight - you can book DL Sky Saver WITHOUT a Saturday night stay - while CO and NW will require that Saturday night stay on a DL round trip (since it is required for their own domestic round trips at the 25K level). Good luck...
