I usually wear a pair of very worn out shoes which are really comfortable. The problem was during my last trip to China. I was arriving in Shanghai at 7 AM. My intention was, upon arriving to the hotel, to put on my suit and proper shoes and attend the fair. However, Finnair lost my luggage and I only had my suit in the trolley, the shoes were too big to fit in there. I tried to buy a new pair in one of the hotel shops, but at USD1100 I said no way!

But that's not all. Right after the fair, we were opening our branch in China, and some pictures were taken to be published in our newsletter, several local newspapers, etc. Every time I look at the pictures I can only see my funny looking shoes. At least I wasn't wearing sandals!
