I can't see why it should be cheating to spend 139€ on a LH fare for cashing in 5.000 miles. That's 3 cent per mile. They sell their miles much cheaper to their partners. And in much bigger quantities...

Also I would like to add that I met Tim on two occasions and really value his 850 posts here on this board. You, dear Prof., did not share as much interesting information yet. So please be a bit more friendly and respectful as long as you stay at our community here. If you don't like it, please see if this other board you mentioned above is a better place for you and provides you a better information ressource...
