Well, I wouldn't be surprised if BA ditched the Avro's and opted for the A318 with the STOL peformance kit they recently demonstrated. This would allow commonality in terms of type rating with the ex-LHR Airbus fleet and allow more capacity at LCY and destinations further afield.

What I do find interesting about this news today is why BA even bothered with a 'Connect' product in the first place. Why not leave it as Citiexpress for the year or so 'Connect' has existed.
