award booked on lan chile in new premium business for March 2007- what to expect?
Has anyone yet experienced the new Lan chile service with the new business class with the new 180 degree flat seats and no first class cabin?I landed a pair of award tickets from AA from lAX to EZE in J- requested F and was informed that there was no F cabin!!!!
My reservation summary shows all 767-300 flights there and back. Are all the segments - flights # 601 going and 600 returning the same cabin configuration being that they are the same flight number and the same aircraft type or is that just wishful thinking ?
There seems to be good availablity for this cabin as I got the first dates I requested and there is NO availability on AA for upgrades ,reward tickets on AA metal for any dates anywhere around the dates i needed to EZE or GRU.
this lan award is "selling" for the same as the old business class on lan used to - that is, 90,000 miles- so this seems like a good deal, folks.
part 2 of this question- since I have not ticketed this yet, for the same number of miles can i add on Iguassu falls as a side trip from EZE on Lan aRGentina or do i have to go there from Santiago on lan chile and do an open jaw and buy a tickt from Iguassu to eze.
part 3- There is a flight leaving EZE at 8pm or so going non-stop to Lima that conncects to flight 600 at lima ,then on to lax thus shortening the flight time and avoiding a stop in SCL. Does anyone know whether this is a new flat -bed internationally configured premium- business class plane. the schedule does show it as a 767. will it be in the future? Anyone flown it in J? I believe it is flight 632 eze- lima.
thanks, fellow fters.and happy flying.
