I'll be in Germany in January and won't have a return ticket (long story). So I am looking for an inexpensive way to get back to LAX. Checking online fares it seems that tickets from Germany (TXL or BRE) to LAX are rather expensive as I need a ticket that is valid for at least 6 months and that means around $900. ! Shall I rather opt for a one way? Or what is the best place to buy cheap tickets in Germany? I was already thinking of doing TXL - LHR on buzz and then to connect on to UAL. What would you recommend? Thanks!
