On every plane I've ever flown, the seats have been numbered the same way:
A-X beginning on the left (when facing forwards)
1-N front to back
Any variations out there?
Also - I've always boarded the plane from the left side (again facing forward). Have you ever boarded from the other side?
It depends on whether
1. You are in the northern or the southern hemisphere.
2. Whther the sterring wheel is on the right or the left
and
3. Whether the plane is metric or American.
