Consider BA, they have direct flights from LHR and are, just like Qantas, member of OneWorld. So it might be easier to get Award flights with them.
The question was about creditcard and/or bankaccounts. I only know of the Diners Club BA-card, but then DC is not widely accepted. Amex isn't either, but far more then DC.
But ofcourse, you can also earn MR by each other Amexcard, DC has its own program, so there are more options. When you compare Amex MR to Amex FB, when using it for FB: the first you earn 1 point every euro, 5 points equals 4 miles, while Amex FB earns 1 to 2 miles per euro. On the other hand, MR (and DC's program) can be used on several different airlines.
