You are dead on about the inconsistencies, there are two or three places where you can find some contradicting or ambiguous information about KLM in particular. I also called to ask about the AF/KLM Q miles counting toward the 75k for the 50k redeemable miles bonus and was told yes they do count. Was also told they are entitled to 100% MVP Gold bonus. I am flying SIN-AMS-JFK tomorrow, have already rolled through Plat at NW, and so am crediting to AS to bump up over the 75k threshold, so they better be right. I'm going to be pissed if I dont get my 100% bonus (about 11k redeemable miles) and my Q miles (and thus fall 10k short of the of the 75k threshold). I would effectively lose over 60k miles.

I have sympathy that the AF/KLM merger made things difficult for a period, but you're right that they should have updated this information. The doc date Jan 2004 is really out of date, come on almost 2 years old....??? But as to your question about CO, I havent seen anything indicating those would get Q miles, so I think that one is pretty definitely a "no" answer.
