Indeed.

The lack of the system in AAnother country has been lamented in another PPlace following ComAirs accident at Lexington. It really is a great system. If the pilot spots a line of green lights ahead they step on the gas and move ahead. If they spot a line of red lights across their path they step on the brakes.

Pretty foolproof, and helpful for those who don't know their way around the airport they are at - which is a more common problem than many would think.
