I once had the pleasure of sitting in the jump seat for a flight from TLV to LHR. I had a seat down the back as well but the view from the front was much nicer!

Landing was incredible with virtually zero visibility (on automatic pilot - 3 of them to be exact).

What was interesting was the conversation that transpired after landing between the Capain and First Officer. It was a few years ago now (prior to 9/11) but was something along the lines of:

First Officer: Captain, which way do we go?
Captain: Not sure, but I think we follow this green line
First Officer: Oh yes, there's our spot.

I can remeber it all, just that I found it rather strange and following my questions to them discovered that LHR does not have follow me vehicles.
