AA F seats are a lot more comfortable (both kinds are 100% flat and horizontal); in fact the AA FS is competitive with the QF/BA F seat, and not J. The one thing AA did right was in the design of their F seat for half the long-haul fleet (slowly being upgraded to be 100%).
