You got robbed. I took a large watertaxi for 10 Euros. But they only run 2 per hour, IIRC
As for Stockholm, Munich, and other European cities, take the train. And at Seoul Incheon, take the bus.
China is cheap- you just have to remember "dala, dala" and "ting" (one means stop, the other means straight ahead, but it's been 4 years and I can't remember what's what)
