Paid almost 300 in Greece to get my family out of downtown Athens on a Sunday (had a Monday flight). They were shutting the city down because soem foreign dignitaries were coming, including the Chancellor of Germany and the PM of England. Literally they were blockading all of the roads into and out of the downtown area, and the hotel said all tourists should leave. Most disorganized thing I have ever seen.

The taxis were all taken up so we had to pay outrageous fees. The fee to get to the airport would have been something like $75, but since our changed flight time wasn't for a while we went sightseeing outside of downtown, costing about $225.
