Say for example i fly back to PVD, a 1 hr drive south of Boston. And there are "maximum of two stopovers is permitted in your region of origin". 1 stop would be used in PVD, another somewhere else in USA later in the year (not going over the 29K and over the 20 flight segments) as a round trip somewhere back to (PVD-?-BOS).
Thank You
I've gone through the rules a couple of times and I don't see any provision for adding additional stopovers, fee or no, within each area. Remember Area III includes both Oz/NZ and Asia.
It might be there and I just don't see it - wouldn't be the first time. The stopover limits are one of the big disadvantages of the GlobEx IMO.
Let me pose a provocative question. Is Tahiti that important? Reason being, a LONE4 Oneworld Explorer gives you a lot more options re stopovers and destinations than a 29K Y GlobEx, and the price for an LONE4 and LGLOB29 are just about the same. (If you buy either one in Britain, BTW, they're both around US$1500 cheaper than if bought in the US, and you can get to London and back from BOS for a lot less than that. Plus with the OWE you'd have six coupons to use in N. America - a lot more domestic travel than you'd get with the GlobEx.)
The downside is Tahiti - not reachable using the OWE except as a dead-end from Chile. OTOH you can get to other tropical paradise places with the OWE, or you can buy side tickets.
Just a thought.
