only AA counts credit card/other transfers/etc toward status. there are ways of earning status points/miles other ways, but not having 100% count like AA.

well, technically spirit does too. but their program isnt really comparable to other programs.

cashback can not come anywhere near the maximum value of credit cards that give you points/milles.
