Mrs. Outoftown and I stayed at the Puerta Plata Coral Hilton location on Hilton points in January. It was probably the most difficult of the 4 properties to get to from Santo Domingo (washouts and also we got lost in Santiago), but it was a nice property. We rarely stay at all inclusives, and other than having to avoid drinking the tap water, we enjoyed our time at this location (supposedly the best of the four). I wonder what rift happened to cause this sudden divorce. I hope it doesn't affect the Princess hotels agreement that Hilton has with properties in Central America, like in San Pedro Sula in Honduras.
