Due to the new rules I would have to make FT untill the end of the year to make use of the status miles I got for my flight to Australia on OS and a couple of others. Too bad, under the old rules I would have had another six or seven months to collect the miles. Anyway, do you know of any cheaper possibility to make 12k status miles in the last two weeks of december other than taking the train btw. ZWS and FRA 3 times, which would amount to EUR 417 (I have no status as of now).
