I fly from PIT, and it has to be one of the worst for this. I do not check bags unless I absolutely, positively must - and when I do I will literally feel myself age as I wait for the bags at PIT.
I hadn't checked bags in years, until the recent liquid restrictions....I checked backs on 5 trips and was pleasently surprised at how fast I got my bags at PIT on they way home. One trip was close to 1/2 hour (the first week of the restrictions) but after that usual was about 10-15 minutes.
I also took a trip to CLT and got my bags in 15 minutes. Coworkers who are locals there told me that it was a major exception to the rule lately.
