Yes, of course the GBP-USD exchange rate is terrible for Americans now, and of course things in the UK are more expensive, but consider the price of Wagamama in relation to other options in London, rather than to US-based restaurants.
And what about the fact that theatre tickets and supermarket produce in London are actually cheaper than those same things in NYC even with the almost 2:1 USD:GBP exchange rate now?
