Other than the 25% bonus, given to FTL {35,000 miles) and SEN (100,000 miles), I'm not sure what good a "comp" would do? Ok, you might get a nice card, which might afford lounge entrance.

I could be forgetting something major, but this isn't like UA or AA where you get a 100% mileage bonus for mid-tier and higher.

One paid business class trip to Asia, of 17,500 miles or greater, will net you FTL status. A paid first class trip of 12,000 miles will do the same.
