When I asked about a year ago (as a long-time United MP and three-year 1K who was moving from Asia to Europe), the response was negative.

However, there are rumors that LH will comp (sort of like when they used to give the HON status) but not based solely or routinely on your status with another airline.

Maybe Merry could provide more information (if he ever looks in over here).
