I have been a UA 1P for years and switched to AA this year after they comped me to Platinum. I need to get 100% bonus miles as well as have club access. I may do about 70K a year with about 10 K of that domestic US. The rest is primarily Asian travel. I abhor UA at this point and would be preferring to travel SQ, or NH.

I have heard some good things about LH’s plan and wanted to get a practical comparison to the merits of requesting a comp to the equivalent level on LH.

This arises due to AA’s apparent decision to cease flight from PHX ( home base ) and all California cities.

I can send them both a UA 1P and an AA Platinum card.
