Do I need to reapply then or there is a simplify process?
Short answer: get a new (large - 64 page?) passport ASAP and get the stamp in the new one.

Long answer: the Home Office will gladly relieve you of your current passport for 14 weeks or so, together with £160 in order to transfer the stamp to a new passport. Alternatively, you can go & waste a day at Croydon and pay them £500 for this to be done quicker.

Second option is to carry around both passports (i.e. the old one with the stamp, and the new one without it).

Do make sure to register for IRIS to avoid getting a stamp each time you return to the UK.
