My question is, shouldn't I get the actual mileage flown, not just the standard DTW-IAH miles for an uneventful, regularly routed flight? That's all I've been credited so far . . .
Unfortunately it doesn't work like that - your flight segment, while it included MSY and a lot of flying around, was only DTW-IAH - just like if you buy a direct flight from HNL-DTW that actually stops in SEA - you only get the HNL-DTW mileage anyways.
And, since it was weather, talk-to-us most likely wouldn't lead to any bonus miles - sorry
