Hopefully, one of our wonderful AA FA's will chime in here. Does the company NOT give you this type of information? Or is it just the "Ireland" confusion that confuses everyone? Really, IMHO, the ground staff should have made an announcement of what you should do!!
I've just got home after the Sunday/Monday flight. Sheer chaos and and FA's rude to several passengers when we were stuck on the taxi out and returned because the documentation was wrong. Flight delayed 2hrs 20 mins as a result. 1 passenger asked what the reason and was told bluntly, "Why are you asking me? I didn't do it, do you want the captain to come down and tell you personally".

I asked if I could speak to the Purser 3 times about missing my connection with Ryanair. In the end AA left me in Dublin with no currency and no connection back to the UK.

They really don't care and have no idea how to handle the situation with the Shannon leg.
