Looks like this location is now a regular HI. Hmmmph.

To add to the list of Seattle-area properties to avoid: The Tacoma and Federal Way Holiday Inn Expresses. Just horrible, horrible neighborhoods. The Federal Way location does not have interior doors, as well. I stayed at the Tacoma hotel last week, which had nicely renovated rooms with flat screens and smart bedding and eveything. It's too bad I got approached in the parking lot by a beggar on arrival and a prostiutute during my stay. Seriously. And believe it or not, they charged $135 a night.
