SOLVED BY FT: 2 trips to Ireland: bag stowage for 2nd run? (Admirals Club??)
I have two trips to Ireland coming right up on AA.
The first trip is for pleasure, and I'll be packing the usual items one would carry on a weeklong trip to the Emerald Isle in November.
The second trip departs within ~12 hours of the first from the same airport. I had not planned to leave the airport. On the second flight, I will fly to Ireland, and come straight back in a matter of hours so I can qualify myself to EXP.
All's well with the scheme, except for a notable problem with UK baggage restrictions. My second run has a very short turn: just a few hours. Ideally I only have to deal with my carryon, rather than waiting and waiting for a checked bag to come off the plane.
I will be flying out of LAX. Within a few hours of the end of my second flight to Ireland, I will catch another flight back to SEA.
I'm wondering if anyone has any bright ideas about what to do with my unnecessary bag during this second flight.
If the AA Admirals Club in LAX could hold it for me for ~24 hours that would be ideal. I am a paid member for the year.
Can anyone brainstorm other possibilities? Back when I booked my tickets, this was not an issue.
Thanks,
-KF
