A 39K mile *A RTW ticketed in C could include 120 RTs FRA-CGN-FRA on the train. That would be over 600K status miles for $6-10K. Because of transfer restrictions, it would have to originate either in Scandanavia or outside Europe. It would take 2 to 3 weeks to complete. CGN Airail is scheduled to start 15 January. It should be possible to get over 10M status miles next year for not much more than $100K. If there is a good Airail promotion, I may decide to accumulate a lifetime supply of miles.

Am I missing something here?
