Wow. What if the person only flys once a year, if that (in which case these resources you mention might be unknown to them)? What if the bulkhead seat was the only seat available for purchase? What if the traveler had missed a previous flight and was rerouted on this one at the last minute? What if there was a family emergency and this person had just rushed to the airport for any available flight? I think you're making a lot of assumptions about "these types of people".
