I flew LH once only in the past 3 years in longhaul. Let me say the flights were the worst ever. Food is served in cheap alfoil trays and very inflexible FA´s. You want extra alcoholic drinks and they come back at Christmas. The Panzerfrau FA´s are very un femminine like and I do not enjoy the LH service at all. So rather than take LH from PVG direct to FRA last June, I took TG and had a layover in BKK just to avoid the LH nightmare. In addition it was precisely the excellent TG service and flexibility which allowed me to make the trip to FRA, arrive in the early morning and return that very same evening on a later Tg flight once business was finished. On the return leg I was given 4 seats blocked so as I could sleep.
