very, very simple. that's the type of ticket you bought. those are the terms of the ticket (i.e., CO can change whatever the F they want you can't without paying).
if you wanted flexibility, CO offers that product...namely, full Y.
the trade-off by buying the former ticket is that it is usually cheaper.
but, it's up to you to choose.
