Maybe I'm just tired, but I read it as meaning that I'd get the 5,000 miles just for showing up at the Open House -- kind of like those time-share promos!
Hmmm. Well, that would be nice indeed. But I read it as signing up for the club. Just wondering how it's any different from the current promo that's been running all along.
It is like a time share promo, though... too funny.
I think it would have to be (another) preferred promo to get any fireworks.
