1) Voltage is the same world round (12V) HOWEVER you have to be careful about how the car is grounded. 99.9% of cars in the US are negative grounded, however this is not the case in the rest of the world. Some cars are postive grounded. Before you put the charger into the cigratte lighter, make sure the care is negative grounded, otherwise, when you plug your cellphone in to charge, you'll end up with a fireball in your hand, where your cellphone once was.....
