Sorry to correct you, but there are two -300 configs with LH. One with a C-cabin to row 15 and one with a C-cabin to row 18 (two more rows, 8F/54C/168Y). Not sure how many LH has of these config, but there are at least four of them.

It is my experience that these bigger-C 340s are usually doing routes out of MUC (MUC-SFO, MUC-BOS and MUC-JFK), and the "regular" C-cabin 340s do routes out of FRA. The DUS-EWR-route discontinued after 9/11 was also on a big-C 340.
