The international phonetic code used by pilots works well for this as all the agents understand it (sierra tango whiskey xray yankee zulu) but pretty much any unambiguous word will do as well (soda telephone wheel xylophone yesterday zebra).
Except that it probably wouldn't be difficult to find an AAgent who thought xylophone started with a "Z".
