I was on a BA redeye NAS-LHR once, where the toilets broke down. They could have landed somewhere first airport in the UK, but decided to fly on to LHR. Instead of waking everybody up for breakfast (when people tend to go to the lavatory's), they decided to make no announcements until 15 minutes before touchdown. Officially it was an emergency-landing. I have never been at a gate at LHR so fast
After that flight we were given a 7.50 GPB Heathrow voucher (WOW!) for the missed breakfast.
