Putting E-85 fuel in a rental car

I rented a flex-fuel Impala from RDU last week which I got in the Emerald Aisle. I'm wondering...if one turns in a flex-fuel rental car with a tank full of E-85, this would be screwing over the next renter, since they will only get about 3/4 the miles out of that tank of fuel. I am considering doing this...there are E-85 gas stations in the western part of NC and also near GSP, where E-85 is pricing today at $1.88/gal and regular was pricing at $1.92/gal. If there was a bigger difference, I would get the E-85, because I am still fulfilling National's requirements to turn in the car with the tank full. Any thoughts?
