Unfortunateley, sending mails to the Support describing the problems does not help, since they need at least 4/5 weeks to answer, and then unqualified people routinely respond things like "IFW works as designed".
A few months ago, after some software update, the IFW check-in didn't work properly with connecting flights (only the 1st segment were checked-in, the 2nd left in an unexpected state).
I got this answer : "IFW check-in is not available from outside Germany" (I flew from CDG)

IMO their email "support" is a joke, very often I get no reply, the other times it is most of the time not helpful.
