I'm new to these boards and am getting alot of information out of them.

My question is this:

I'm traveling out on a Delta Sky Miles Award ticket but on the return, Delta got me award seats on NW flights. I was able to get this ticket using 25,000 Delta Sky Miles.

On the return, is it possible to upgrade my coach ticket to Business or First Class for 5,000 or 15,000 NWA miles? If so, can I do this at the airport check-in counter?
