I am 5 star about to go to PC so I think I know about renting from Hertz.

I get to the location at the Columbus OH airport. I wait finaly a rep who seemed like he did not care asked if he could help me. I give me name, he looks and tells me I was due in at 10Am that morining not not at 8:30 PM. Rep looks at computer for a few more minutes, then walks away, shows up 5 minutes later and tells me I made my reservation for 07, the correct date, just wrong year. Can you make a res a year from now?

At this point all I want is my car, I get told they can not honor my orginal res, and the only cars they have are volvo's ay like $90 a day.

When I asked how did I go from having a reservation this morning to next year, the agent just looked at me with deer in a headlight eyes, and asked if I want the volvo. Manager was basiclly worthless and could not give me an answer of how this happened. I was also hosed because my co worker showed up telling me that all other places were out of cars.

I have rented from the Hertz at Columbus and never again!

The Volvo was nice.
