Back on-topic. I was wondering what all those stationary Oasis Air jumbo's were doing parked in outlying areas of HKG the other day!

Its interesting that DragonAir was originally billed as Asia's first LCC or some such, threatening CX out of HKG etc etc blah blah.

And yet, DragonAir has 2 or even 3 classes (its a short haul airline) including AA-like coffin F seats, food and service that's better (IMHO) than CX. And ended up flying routes that CX don't (ie mostly to mainland China). Then it got bought and that was the end of that. The fare's they're offering are comparable to China Eastern on the routes I flew recently.

I'm not sure what Miller's up to this time. He's going up against the majors on busy routes. When that flops, where will he send his planes? Who will he sell up to?
