Could be... The KVS tool had the base fare at $213 the other day from SFO-LHR, which is when I bought my ticket on LH. The base fare was $213 as shown, and the total price was around $400. Routing was SFOxIADxMUC (23 hours) to LHRxSFO. But the fare calculation was SFO-LHR-SFO. My dates were in January... perhaps the applicable dates have changed.
