Another important aspect to keep in mind for those who are saying they are consultants: Sure you would not say it in front of your customers, but one major difference is that the pilot has your life in his/her hands, while a consultant is strictly in business terms. Big difference, IMO.
Just because the captain may hate his job doesn't mean he's going to crash the plane because he's depressed and because he wants to kill himself.
