Iggy slags AC on Quebec talk show

Gone relatively unnoticed in the bruhaha over his remarks on Israeli "war crimes" in Qana were further incendiary comments about the airline we all love to hate. According to a column by Louise Gagnon in yesterday's GLOBE, Iggy also had some hurtful words for Air Canada:

"During the talk show, Mr. Ignatieff made yet another blunder that didn't go unnoticed in his Toronto riding of Etobicoke-Lakeshore, which is home to many Air Canada employees because it is close to Pearson International Airport. At one point, he launched into a bizarre attack against Air Canada, the country's major airline, saying that the company 'frightens' him, that they are 'not courteous' and that 'one thing that unites all of us in this country is our contempts for Air CAnada'. This sounded very much like the typical complaint of a jet-setter who finds Air Canada too pedestrian and prefers Air France or British Airways."
