Alex235: You should be ok with three bags and your FTL status. When I first went out to Tokyo from Zurich I had a 40Kg allowance. I checked in the night before, the desks were real quiet and I had a good laugh with the check-in agent (Swissport) and the Lufthansa rep. I ended up with 115 Kg and no excess baggage charge!!! Talk about flexibility (and an amazing amount of luck).

Tokyo is great. There are somethings that need getting used to. Actually we are in Yokohama. I should change my profile!
