C. J. Bostic, a flight attendant at Southwest Airlines for 35 years, has learned to spot trouble before it happens. “You have to keep a sharp eye if you see a lady going to the bathroom with a baby,” she said. A diaper ditched in the lavatory trash will make its presence known three or four cities later.

“Most experienced travelers know to give it to you” for safekeeping in a sealed plastic bag, said Ms. Bostic, who carries her own room freshener.
eewwwww
Glad we use cloth and have a waterproof (and odorproof) wetbag to put them in! Only had to change a diaper once mid-air and the nearby FA asked (more like insisted) if I wanted her to put the dirty diaper in the galley trash which gets emptied after each flight. She was older and thus astounded when I mentioned we use cloth diapers! But she was thinking of the oldschool diapers that used pins and such, not snaps like ours. No muss, no fuss, no odors and NO diaper rash!!!! ^
